Context :
This project was done during my first year at Gamesup. The goal of this project was to analyze the design of a existing game and create a map for this same game.

My workflow
My first task was to spend 1 or 2 hours to play at DoorKickers 2 and quickly analyze the gameplay of the game.
The second step was to define my design intentions for this level.
Due to the short deadline for this project, I made a real small moodboard in order to help me with the architectural functionality of each level rooms.
My first step for in engine work was to build a "blockout" version of my level idea and set up the main shapes of my map.
With the global shape of my level I started to add enemies and make some quick test with them.
With a good enough version of the level I started to art it with the graphic assets from the level editor.
With the enemies and other gameplay elements of my map i started to playtest the level and iterate my work.
To finalize my work on this project I have made a level design document in order to synthesize my work and my intentions.
